Lisa is the intelligent one in the Simpson family. She is very smart and common sensed. She always protests and always seems to be attempting right. Lisa always wants to go to something for the mind. She is a very gifted child as said, but being a Simpson forces her to waste her talents.

She can always be remembered for her saxophone. The saxophone itself connected to Lisa in a number of ways. First of all, it is a place where can use her gifts. Second it is a place she can place her sorrow. Finally it is a way bring happiness to others around her.

Lisa is always feeling that she has no connection to own, and that she may not even be related to them. The reason is because no one in the family has as much brain mass as she does. But, truth is her smarts are all genetics as reveiled in later episodes that all Simpson born females will be intelligent. In general, Lisa is the smart simpson.
