Maggie is the baby of the Simpson family. Although she has nothing in the entire time of the show's run, Maggie can do more than she appears to be able to do. For example, Maggie seems to just be sucking her pacifier, but she has already etch- a-sketched her name, untied Bart and Lisa, helped build a pool, caught a flying beer bottle, Lead a baby rebellion, and even operated a handgun.

Maggie, unlike most babies here age, can't walk, and falls constantly. Here appearences in episodes were mere glimpses at her abilities. She is also a very good example of the Simpson gene of which female Simpsons are smarter than Simpson males.

Maggie is most often found with Marge, but occasionally ands up with someone not as careful such as Homer, Bart, or grandpa. Fortuanately Maggie isn't difficult to take care of, because she's durable, well-behaved, and always around. Maggie in summary the baby in Springfield.
